Lauth Moss Secures Broward County Project.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Marking their first significant deal together, Lauth Property Group with Moss & Associates of Fort Lauderdale, Florida has been awarded the development of a 182,000 square-foot medical office building in the North Broward Hospital District.

The Class "A" physician office building will connect to Broward General Medical Center with a pedestrian bridge. In addition to medical office space, it will include 16,000 square feet of street level retail space and a 450-car parking garage. Tenants will have the opportunity to select from three interior design schemes for office suites ranging from 1,200 to 18,000 square-feet. Construction will begin in the fall of 2005 with estimated completion in early 2007.

Over the past year, Lauth's healthcare division has developed a pipeline of 30 potential projects representing approximately two million square feet and $300 million.

Moss' Healthcare Division is engaged in a range of projects including new construction and renovation of laboratories, medical research facilities, and medical ambulatory/outpatient care facilities.

Slattery & Associates is the architectural firm and E.J. Smoker & Associates, Inc. is the brokerage firm leasing the project.
