 from the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery where she served as manager of meetings and exhibits. Originally from Chicago, Hacek and her husband Jeffrey reside in Ashburn, VA. She is a graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in International Affairs and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in the same field of study. She is fluent in Spanish, and also reads French and Italian. As a professional photographer, she enjoys freelance work and has had her fine art photos featured on the cover of The Georgetown Journal of Arts and Poetry. As a strong believer in volunteerism, she has worked with organizations such as the American Red Cross American Red Cross: see Red Cross.  and the YMCA YMCA
