Latin Trade honors Colombia's President Uribe as Trade Leader of the Year more than 300 people attend black-tie ceremony for the 10th Annual Latin Trade Bravo Business Awards.


Brazilian Development, Industry and Trade Minister Luiz Fernando Furlan and Colombian Justice and Interior Minister Sabas Pretelt de la Vega Sabas Pretelt de la Vega was the Colombian minister of the Interior and Justice between November 2003 and September 2006. He was born in Cartagena in 1946. He is an economist and humanist by training, has a masters degree en business administration and has been a professor at  were among those in attendance at the 10th Annual LATIN TRADE Bravo Business Awards. More than 300 people witnessed the awards ceremony, held at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.

LATIN TRADE, the No. 1 pan-regional business magazine in the Americas, hailed Development, Industry and Trade Minister Luiz Fernando Furlan as the Most Innovative Policymaker, while Justice and Interior Minister Sabas Pretelt de la Vega accepted the Trade Leader of the Year award on behalf of Colombian President Alvaro Uribe Velez.
