Latin America Becomes Growth Market for Ovid as Regional Sales Rise.

Ovid made a commitment to this market in 1997 with the appointment of Adriana Acosta as sales manager for Latin America, and the effort has resulted in a number of significant sales in Mexico, Peru and Chile. Ovid recently signed contracts with the following customers:

five Ovid Full Text Collections and MEDLINE The online medical database of the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM) whose parent is the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD.
