The Congress will kick off with technical sessions, which commence Tuesday morning, April 18 at 8:30 a.m. and will convene daily through the morning of Friday, April 21. The technical sessions cover a range of topics, including pattern making, melting, copper, aluminum, diecasting, lost foam, engineering, iron, magnesium, molding, environmental health and safety, steel and marketing. Exhibits will be open Wednesday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. At the exhibit, metalcasting suppliers will showcase their most innovative products and services. Beyond the technical sessions and exhibits, the Metalcasting Congress features several annual luncheons and dinners for AFS, NADCA and their divisions. These dinners and luncheons provide a unique time to associate with fellow metalcasters and conduct national business for the associations.
