I-many Validata scrubs script-level data submitted to pharmaceutical manufacturers, eliminating the need for high-priced third party validation services whose fees increase substantially with escalating data volumes, and home-grown systems that are expensive and time-consuming to develop and maintain.

Enhancements to the latest version of I-many Validata leverage its tight integration with I-many CARS(R) to ensure that rebate requests conform to market share requirements specified in original contracts, and to enable priority-based management of duplicate rebate requests across multiple commercial and government rebate programs. The solution now also flags rebate requests for transaction quantities that exceed pre-set levels.

Rebate payments are also minimized with a new benefits validation feature that allows duplicate rebate payment requests to be managed on a priority basis, enabling rebate payments to occur under specific commercial or government plans; if payments were previously made under a different plan, I-many Validata will interface with I-many CARS to reverse those earlier rebate payments. Finally, to eliminate the payment of rebates for unusually high quantities of prescriptions, I-many Validata now allows manufacturers to establish acceptable levels for each product; when these levels are exceeded, the solution will flag the data for additional research.
