Lasik Vision Reports Record Procedure Volumes, First Quarter 2000 Procedures Up 424% Year-Over-Year.

Lasik Vision Corporation (CDNX:LSK.), a leading North American provider of laser vision correction services, today announced that 26,673 paid laser procedures were performed at the Company's refractive centres in the first quarter ended March 31, 2000. This is a 424 per cent increase from 5,092 the same period a year ago and represents a new record volume quarter for Lasik Vision. The first quarter procedures represent a 36 per cent sequential increase from the 19,567 procedures performed in the fourth quarter of 1999.
