Larry R. DeBoever Named Chief Research Officer At Experio Solutions; Former META Group President to Provide Thought Leadership to Company and Its Clients.

Larry R. DeBoever, former META Group president, has been appointed chief research officer and senior vice president at Experio Solutions Corporation, a $100-million Dallas-based business and IT consulting company. Experio draws on its 20-year history of knowledge and experience in developing practical, workable improvements for Global 1000 and mid-sized firms.

DeBoever, a world-renowned expert in enterprise architecture and the transformation of business through information technology, will make use of his 30 years of industry experience in leading all of Experio's research endeavors. He will provide thought leadership to Experio clients and consulting practices and will play a key role on the company's business development team. He will be based in Dallas.

Before his appointment, DeBoever served as president of META Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:METG), a leading technology research company. Mr. DeBoever was with META for four years during which time he established the fastest growing business unit in the history of the company and was recognized as one of the leading analysts in the industry. In addition, DeBoever integrated META's multiple sales channel organizations into a single worldwide organization with operations in 34 countries.

He also was the founder of DeBoever Architectures, which was acquired by META in October 1996, where he created the concept of adaptive, enterprise architecture, directly enabling core business strategies and value chains. In addition, he was an executive at Computer Corporation of America in the early 1980s; co-founded Christensen Systems, the developers of TELON; served as CEO of Linkware; and has held board positions in several companies and start-ups.

DeBoever co-chaired the first Microsoft Windows Developer Conference in with Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. He also founded and initially chaired numerous industry events including the Enterprise Architecture Conference, National Connectivity Symposium, Downsizing/Rightsizing Conference, and the first DEC-IBM Integration Conference.

His 1986 research work for ADAPSO entitled "Corporate Connectivity: Concepts, Technology & Trends" foreshadowed the advent of network-centric computing and is considered a landmark.

DeBoever, 50, holds masters degrees from Purdue University and the University of Southern California. He is married and has two children.
