Larry H. Miller Renames the Home of the Utah Jazz: EnergySolutions Arena.


SALT LAKE CITY -- Larry H. Miller Lawrence Horne "Larry H." Miller (born April 26, 1944) is a Utah businessman and philanthropist. He is well known as the owner of the NBA's Utah Jazz. Miller is also the owner of an automotive dealership, and a variety of other business ventures including Prestige Financial, Jordan  announced today a new partnership and naming rights Naming rights are the right to name a piece of property, either tangible property or an event, usually granted in exchange for financial considerations. The sponsorship deal reached today is a ten-year agreement which includes exclusive sponsorship and advertising rights and prominent signage on the exterior and interior of the building.

Larry H. Miller built the arena in 1991 as the multi-purpose home of the Utah Jazz. Since that time the arena has entertained millions of Jazz fans, hosted the NBA Finals, 2002 Olympic Winter Games, hundreds of concerts, the circus and ice shows as the entertainment center of Salt Lake City.
