Snagging is the production of a list of quality defects at the end of a build process/phase/stage (a "Snag List" or "Snagging List").  eight of the top 15 spots on the Business Journal's 2005 list of the largest employers in the Valley. Of course, most people would assume that Thousand Oaks-based, Amgen, the world's largest biotech company would maintain a large presence in the Valley (7,000 local employees), but companies such as Oakland-based Kaiser Permanente Kaiser Permanente is an integrated managed care organization, based in Oakland, California, founded in 1945 by industrialist Henry J. Kaiser and physician Sidney R. Garfield.  employ 6,700 people locally, while Woodland Hills-based Health Net, Inc. has 2,200 employees in the area. The remaining five health care employers that made the top 15 were Glendale Adventist Medical Center Glendale Adventist Medical Center is located in the Los Angeles suburb of Glendale, California. It was founded in 1905. Glendale Adventist Medical Center is a sister institution of Loma Linda University Medical Center and is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist hospital system.  (2,100 employees), Northridge Hospital Medical Center Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a hospital in the Northridge town of Los Angeles, California, USA. It is currently operated by Catholic Healthcare West. History

COUNTRYWIDE FINANCIAL Countrywide Financial Corporation (NYSE: CFC) is a diversified financial marketing and service holding company engaged primarily in residential mortgage banking and related businesses.  CORP.

CALABASAS-based financial behemoth behemoth (bē`hĭmŏth, bĭhē`–) [Heb.,=plural of beast], large, fanciful primeval monster, like Leviathan, evoking the hippopotamus mentioned in the Book of Job.  Countrywide Financial Corp. held onto its top spot as the Valley's largest employer, adding 1,500 employees locally and 10,500 employees nationwide since last year, largely as a result of steep increases in its loan production. The growth brings the company's total number of Valley employees to 12,500, and the total nationally to 49,500.
