Lanxess inaugurates tech center in Shanghai.


Lanxess's Technical Rubber Products Business Unit officially inaugurated its new, multifunctional technical center in Shanghai Shanghai (shăng`hī`, shäng`hī`), city (1994 est. pop. 12,980,000), in, but independent of, Jiangsu prov., E China, on the Huangpu (Whangpoo) River where it flows into the Chang (Yangtze) estuary. . The four-story building, located in the Zhangjiang Zhangjiang High-tech (Chinese: 张江高科, Hanyu: Zhāngjiāng Gāokē) is a technology park in Pudong, Shanghai. It is operated by Zhangjiang Hi Tech Park Development Co., Ltd.  High-Tech Park on the Pudong side of Shanghai, provides state-of-the-art testing facilities.
