245 provides an affordable combination of speed and image quality

ATLANTA -- Lanier Worldwide, Inc. today announced the Lanier LDD245, a digital duplicator A Printer-Duplicator, also known as a digital duplicator, is a printing technology designed for high-volume print jobs (20 copies or more). Printer-Duplicators can provide a reliable and cost efficient alternative to toner-based copiers or offset printing equipment.  that delivers up to 120 pages per minute (ppm) with 400 x 400 dpi resolution. Designed for faith-based organizations and nonprofits, the LDD245 helps these and other cost-conscious users print large volumes of documents at a very affordable price. It will be available immediately.

"End-users in faith-based organizations and nonprofits need to keep costs low without sacrificing speed or quality," said Dominic Pontrelli, vice president of Marketing for Lanier. "The LDD245 helps them meet this challenge. It provides everything they need in a high-quality system."

The LDD245 offers standard 11" x 17" output, enabling end-users to print large quantities of ledger-size bulletins and newsletters. The system accepts a range of paper stocks up to 110 lb. index.

"The LDD245 is affordable to own and operate," Pontrelli said. "Its engine life far exceeds the durability of most digital copiers. The master not only yields 4,000 pages, but it minimizes ink usage to reduce supply costs on long runs. As a result, the LDD245 can achieve a lower cost-per-page than digital copiers for high-volume print jobs."

To help ensure excellent image quality, the LDD245 features a thickened thick·en

Users can also choose from 11 standard inks for spot color A color that is printed from one printing plate which contains one matched color of ink. Spot colors are used when only one or two solid colors are needed on a page or when a color has to match perfectly and be consistent such as with a company logo or when colors are the trademark of the  application.
