According to the office of the Director of National Intelligence on its conference Website, "The lessons learned from 9/11 clearly indicate that simply gathering and storing critical information is not sufficient. Rather, entities involved in protecting the nation must proactively share information to create the clearest and most accurate picture possible." To that end, Language Weaver has been working with partners to develop multilingual applications that are immediately useful and that support not only intelligence gathering but also communications among interested parties.
