Landec Ag, Monticello, Ind., promotes Dr. Natarajan Balachander to vice president of research and manufacturing. He joined the company as senior chemist in 1995 and became manager of product and development in 1997. As project manager in 1998, he supervised all aspects of the Intellicoat seed coating program. In January 1999, he became the director of Intellicoat research and development.
