Zero-day Attacks and Next-generation Security Technology

Lancope, Inc., the leading provider of behavior-based threat detection and network intelligence solutions, today announced that it has donated its StealthWatch solution to Wright College, one of the seven City Colleges of Chicago The City Colleges of Chicago is a system of seven community colleges which provide learning opportunities for Chicago residents at the schools or online, and also members of the US military through the Navy Campus to enhance their knowledge and skills. . Wright College will use the StealthWatch technology in its Computer Security and Forensics Investigation (CSFI) Lab to support the state-accredited Information Security/Computer Forensics curriculum to help educate students in combating zero-day attacks. The estimated value of the donation is over $20,000.

Wright College provides the only state-accredited Cyber Crime/Computer Forensics curriculum in the state of Illinois.
