Byline: By Poppy Brady

SOME may say he's a glutton glutton: see wolverine.  for punishment - but Lance Collins' marathon debut inspired him to tackle two more.

.

This year his minimum target is pounds 1,600 but he is aiming to match last year's big amount.

Lance, who lives in Har-borne, said: "Last year I seemed to be held back with all kinds of setbacks and I had a heel problem which almost made me give up. However, this year I seem to have overcome these problems and got into a good routine.

"The atmosphere in London is so fantastic and that is what is driving me on to do it again this year. Your first marathon is a huge hurdle to overcome but I confident I can do it again and hopefully complete New York on November 4.

"Training can be tough but I've had so much support that it is spurring me on to raise funds again this year."
