Lafarge announces expansions in Midwest and Southwest.


Lafarge has completed the purchase of Western Sand and Gravel Inc., Aux Sable sable, species of marten, Martes zibellina, found in Siberia, N European Russia, and N Finland. Sun State has been doing business in the greater Phoenix area for more than 20 years. The business will be consolidated into Lafarge's Aggregates, Concrete and Asphalt operations.
