Lady relies on share issue to keep in shape.

Women-only-gyms group Lady in Leisure has been forced to issue a batch of new cut-price shares to raise pounds 1.7 million.

    Award for Potter

    An award for European Hazardous Chemical Distribution Company of the Year has been presented to the Droitwich-based Potter Group by the European Institute of Transport Management, in recognition of its logistics services for Ciba Speciality Chemicals.

    Weighty decision

    Weight manufacturer F J Thornton & Co of Wolverhampton, has turned its attention to the food industry with a range of large galvanised iron weights. Thornton's weights are designed for use at stages in food processing, from receipt and storage of raw materials through to warehousing and distribution of the final packages product.
