Laboratoires Fournier Licenses BIOBASE's TRANSFAC Gene Regulation Database.

TRANSFAC

TRANSFAC is the eukaryotic gene regulation database that contains extensive information on over 8,700 transcription factors, their binding sites and derived nucleotide distribution matrices, and the genes they regulate. Manually curated since 1997, TRANSFAC aids researchers in identifying and analyzing transcription factor binding sites, as well as visualizing, interpreting, and predicting gene regulatory networks. Database updates are released every three months, and the latest release can be downloaded at www.biobase-international.com.
