Labatt USA sets new sales record

Labatt's USA reported that both the Labatt's and Rolling Rock brands set new monthly shipment records in July.

According to the company, Labatt's July shipments were up three percent versus last year when the previous shipment record was achieved.

Rolling Rock's shipments, meanwhile, were up four percent versus a monthly record set back in July, 1976. The Latrobe Brewing Co. also set an annual shipment record, besting the one set in 1975.

"We are setting sales records on both Labatt's and Rolling Rock in difficult market conditions," stated Bill Lewis, Labatt's USA vice president of sales.

"Labatt's USA has a growing expertise in the niche marketing of malt beverages," Lewis continued. "Our wholesaler network believes both in our direction and our brands and has been the driving force in achieving our latest record results."
