LaSalle Broker Dealer Services Division (LaSalle) is pleased to announce its selection as the purchasing agent for new, senior unsecured debt notes issued by International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE: IBM), called IBM Notes.

Beginning today, IBM will offer medium term notes, aptly called IBM Notes, as part of the LaSalle Direct Access Notes(SM) (DANs(SM)) program. IBM Notes, rated A1 by Moody's and A+ by Standard & Poor's, will be issued in minimum denominations of $1,000 with a variety of structures and maturities, and will be available through the DANs selling group members. IBM is the first technology company to be included in the DANs program.
