 LUCAS WINS COCKPIT LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR NEW INDIAN HELICOPTER
 FARNBOROUGH, England, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucas Aerospace has been awarded a contract by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., Bangalore, India, for the supply of electroluminescent cockpit lighting panels for the Advanced Light Helicopter. Value of the contract is undisclosed.
 The panels were developed using state-of-the-art spectroradiometer equipment and are compatible with night vision goggles.
 The panels are designed and produced by Lucas' Luton, England, Engineering & Heating Systems facility. The business is part of the international group of business units that comprise the Aircraft Systems Division, which, in addition to its electroluminescent lighting capabilities, designs, develops and manufactures equipment and systems for electric power generation, ice protection, missile casings and actuation, cockpit and cabin windows and cargo handling systems.
