 RESTON, Va., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Lucas Aerospace will be


exhibiting at Asian Aerospace '92 on Stand Number 633, which is located within the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) United Kingdom Joint Venture area in the Main Exhibition Hall.
 A feature of the stand will be the prominence given to the company's commitment to customer support where Lucas Aerospace is making substantial investments to provide world-class support facilities with major customer service centers in Singapore serving the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the Americas. There is also an extensive network of repair and overhaul facilities, providing a 24- hour AOG service to support Lucas' product range and related technologies.
 Lucas Aerospace is the world's largest producer of commercial cargo handling systems, and an interesting display will feature this particular product. Systems are installed on many aircraft designed by Airbus, Boeing and McDonnell Douglas.
 Another area of the stand will feature Lucas Aviation, a business which specializes in complete aircraft modification and maintenance services for the full range of civil aircraft. Services provided include modification, maintenance and repair of aircraft, aircraft systems and avionics, aircraft painting, interior retrofit, airframe life extension and VIP conversions.
 Demonstrated on the stand will be the Lucas ARTEMIS, the world's leading computer-based project planning and control system. ARTEMIS provides proven solutions where complex management information involving data analysis is essential. Major customers in the aerospace industry include IPTN, Boeing, British Aerospace, NASA, Lockheed and Augusta.
 Shown in graphic form on the stand will be the company's Direction Finding System which intercepts and locates communication signals and the VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) earth station, which uses satellite communications for data transmission. Lucas' capabilities in microelectronics, wave guide components, circuit and antenna design have been incorporated in the VSAT design to permit service in many environments.
 Lucas has a unique capability to provide complete engine management systems for both commercial and military engines. Products include Full Authority Digital Engine Controls (FADEC), fuel pumps and metering units, power generation, ignition systems and actuation. Graphics and equipment on the stand will reflect this powerful capability which is complimented by the company's range of primary and secondary flight controls and the ability to provide a total systems capability in fly-by-wire flight controls and actuation.
