Corporation (Nasdaq: LTXX), a leading provider of semiconductor test solutions, today announced the purchase of its X-Series Fusion EX test system by Dongbu Electronics, Korea's largest pure-play semiconductor foundry A pure-play semiconductor foundry is a company that does not offer a significant amount of IC products of its own design, but instead focuses on producing ICs for other companies. . Dongbu will utilize the EX in its Buchon, Korea facility for wafer level testing of advanced automotive and SOC devices.

"We selected the X-Series because it provides the best solution for testing our automotive and consumer SOC devices," noted John YS Kim, test team leader for Dongbu. "It provides the advanced digital capabilities, high power options and mixed signal performance we need, while still meeting the aggressive cost of test targets required in our competitive markets. Furthermore, the scalability and flexibility of the X-Series enabled us to select a single test system to address both our automotive and SOC test requirements, providing us with maximum utilization and efficiency for our test operations."

ABOUT DONGBU ELECTRONICS
