LTV NAMES KILE S. BELL SENIOR DIRECTOR OF INTERNAL AUDIT

 CLEVELAND, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The LTV Corporation (NYSE: LTVWI) announced that on July 12, 1993, Kile S. Bell joined LTV Steel Company as senior director of internal audit.
 Bell will have overall responsibility for internal audit activities focused on finance, operational, government contract and management of information systems. He will report directly to William C. Armbruster, vice president and controller.
 "Kile's leadership and organizational skills will nicely complement those of our existing staff. I look for an increase in overall delivery of quality auditing focused on business improvement," said Armbruster.
 Bell joined LTV Steel from Wayne State University located in Detroit, where he held the position of director of internal audit. Previously to being associated with Wayne State University, Bell spent seven years in public accounting (concentrating on manufacturing concerns), and eight years with Chrysler Corporation in various financial roles.
 Bell is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business with majors in accounting and finance from the University of Detroit.
