 LTV COMPLETES SALE OF SIERRA RESEARCH DIVISION
 DALLAS, March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The LTV Corporation (NYSE: QLTV)


announced today that it has completed the sale of its Sierra Research Division of Buffalo, N.Y., to Sierra Technologies, Inc. of Dallas.
 Terms of the transaction were not announced.
 Sierra Research, which has a current work force of 550, manufactures electronic and avionic components and equipment for the defense and commercial aerospace markets.
 LTV received U.S. Bankruptcy Court approval for the sale in October 1991.
 Principals of Sierra Technologies, Inc., an organization formed specifically to acquire and operate Sierra Research, are James F. Gero and Edward W. (Rusty) Rose, III, both of Dallas.
 LTV is a diversified manufacturing company involved in steel, aerospace/defense and energy products.
