In collaboration with the Jikei University School of Medicine, the company has been striving to develop a DDS for steroid hormones. Using polylactic acid (PLA (Programmable Logic Array) A type of programmable logic chip (PLD) that contained arrays of programmable AND and OR gates. PLAs are no longer used. See PLD.
