LSSi's Database Inquiry Demand To Exceed 3 Billion Transactions In 2006.

EDISON, N.J. -- LSSi Corp.:

* Anticipated 2006 growth in transaction volume over 30%

* Classic 411 or 118 transactions expected to drop below 50% of total volume

* Listing accuracy key to new market penetration and transaction growth for LSSi

LSSi Corp. (www.lssi.net), the world leader in developing and operating high-performance directory databases, announced today that it will process more than 3 billion discrete transactions in 2006, a record for the company.

Inquiry volume growth, which is 30% above levels experienced in 2005, is being driven by many factors. The company has steadily increased the number of national databases it hosts, now including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. The company also expanded the number of high-speed international listings available through its Global Gateway Service, offering international callers listings in 25 North American North American

, European, and Pacific Rim countries. LSSi has also developed new listing database products and services outside of its core telephony directory assistance market.

"LSSi is experiencing robust demand for its database services," said Jack McMaster, LSSi's President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. . "Driving this demand is LSSi's expanded set of database services. While national database inquiries submitted by directory assistance operators remain an important part of LSSi's business, online searches from directory portal websites are also a growing source of inquiries, as well as popular database services like New Movers, Phone Append To add to the end of an existing structure. , CNAM (Calling NAMe) An IN (Intelligent Network) service that displays the caller's name on the calling party's digital readout. This is similar to caller ID except that the calling party's name is displayed along with the calling number or instead of the calling number. See caller ID. , File Refresh, and Enhanced Directory Assistance (EDA (1) (Electronic Design Automation) Using the computer to design, lay out, verify and simulate the performance of electronic circuits on a chip or printed circuit board. ). These new database products have dramatically accelerated inquiry growth. In fact, LSSi expects that classic '411 or 118' inquiry levels to fall below 50% of its total transaction volume for the first time in its history."

"Listing Accuracy is what drives much of this growth," said Mike McGuire, LSSi's Director of Product Management. "Many of our new products offer listing data in novel forms and simpler packages. That opens up new market niches for us. But once we're there, what really catches our client's eye is the accuracy of our listings. For example, direct marketers want the latest information possible on new residential listings, or companies that are newly arrived in an area. Stale listings are of little or no use to them. That's where the unrivaled freshness and accuracy of LSSi's telco-fresh data gives us a tremendous advantage," said McGuire. "Our recently enhanced capability to provide same day updates for time sensitive client applications has been warmly received."
