LSS Data Systems' MAGIC MPM Suite (Version 5.5 Service Release 2.1) Receives Full CCHIT Certification(SM).

Software Complies with 100 Percent of Certification Criteria

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT(SM)) today announced that LSS Data Systems is CCHIT Certified(SM) for the electronic health record (EHR) component of its product, the MAGIC Medical and Practice Management Suite (Version 5.5 SR 2.1) and meets CCHIT ambulatory EHR criteria for 2006. Ambulatory EHRs are designed for physician offices and clinics where Americans receive the majority of their healthcare treatment.

LSS received CCHIT certification for its C/S MPM Suite (Version 5.5 SR 2.1) in July, 2006. CCHIT is a Recognized Certification Body in the United States for certifying health information technology - an independent, non-profit organization that sets the benchmark for electronic health records. As a CCHIT Certified product, the MAGIC MPM Suite has been tested and passed inspection of 100 percent of a comprehensive set of criteria for EHR functionality, interoperability and security.

LSS customer Poudre Valley Health System, based in Fort Collins, Colo., is utilizing LSS' CCHIT Certified MAGIC product.
