LONGEVITY MARRIED 65 YEARS: MAHADED AND PUSHPA DANDEKAR.Byline: Nicole Sunkes Mahaded and Pushpa Dandekar of Reseda celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with their family on May 25. They plan on visiting India later this year. They were brought together by their families for an arranged marriage The purpose of an arranged marriage is to form a new family unit by marriage while respecting the chastity of all people involved. Pushpa attended school in Mumbai and worked as a homemaker. They have three children: Arun of Bombay, India, Sharad of Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969. and Vasant of Jackson, Miss. They also have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. They were neighbors growing up in Burbank and both attended the same elementary, middle and high schools there.
