Olaf graduated from the same high school in 1938 and also worked for Lockheed before entering the U.S. Air Force in 1943. He served for three years as crew chief on the P-47 Thunder Bolt fighter planes. After his discharge in 1946, he and his two brothers started Bohannan Paving Co. in North Hollywood. Olaf went into semi-retirement in the early 1960s. He is active in the Church of Christ in Winnetka. They have two children: Wynona Maury of Simi Valley and Loel Bohannan of North Hollywood. They also have three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Yvonne and Jack also took their family on a cruise in February.
