LONGEVITY MARRIED 60 YEARS: DOROTHY AND RALPH CONDE.

Dorothy and Ralph Conde of West Hills celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 11 at home.

They met while they were both in the Navy in 1944. Dorothy was a nurse and Ralph a corpsman corps·man

Dorothy was born in Florence, Ala., and graduated from the University of Memphis The University of Memphis is a public research university located in Memphis, Tennessee, United States, and is a flagship public research university of the Tennessee Board of Regents system. . She worked as a Navy nurse for three years, and continued to work as a nurse, retiring in 1985.

Ralph graduated from Loyola High School There are many Loyola High Schools: In Colombia

  • Loyola Catholic Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
 in Los Angeles and served in the military for five years. He worked in the automobile business for 45 years, retiring in 1987.

They have two children: Ralph Jr. of Ashburn, Va., and Linda Leppert of Hayward. They have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

MARRIED 50 YEARS: BARBARA AND GREGORY WALCOTT

Barbara and Gregory Walcott of Canoga Park celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family on Oct. 3 at Orcutt Ranch in Chatsworth.

They met at the home of Roy and Dale Rogers in Encino in 1953, and were married in Boulder City Boulder City, residential city (1990 pop. 12,567), S Nev., just W of Hoover Dam near Lake Mead; inc. 1959. Built (1932) by the federal government as headquarters during the dam's construction, it became a self-governing municipality by act of Congress in 1958. , Colo., on Oct. 3, 1954.

Barbara worked as a kindergarten teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District The Los Angeles Unified School District (the "LAUSD") is the largest (in terms of number of students) public school system in California and the second-largest in the United States. Only the New York City Department of Education has a larger student population.  for 33 years. Schools she taught at include Enadia Way and Napa Street. She keeps herself busy composing children's music, and has recorded a children's album, ``Bubbles and Boo.''

Gregory worked as an actor in more than 50 films and 300 television shows. His credits include programs such as ``Bonanza,'' ``The Young and the Restless'' and ``Murder, She Wrote,'' and films such as ``Norma Rae,'' ``Sugarland Express'' and a film he produced and starred in, ``Bill Wallace
