Claire and Phil Storm of Westlake Village celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their family on Jan. 8 at the Beverly Hills Hotel The Beverly Hills Hotel is a hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, at 9641 Sunset Boulevard. It was opened on May 12, 1912 and started by Margaret J. Anderson and her son, Stanley S. Anderson, who had been managing the Hollywood Hotel. .

Claire graduated from Hollywood High School in 1941 and later from Sawyers Business College. She worked as an executive assistant for the head of advertising and merchandising at Columbia Pictures. She was a member of the Santa Ana chapter of the Assistance League of Southern California for eight years and has been a member of the Los Angeles chapter for 35 years. She served as the vice president of the National Assistance League for one term and is a member of the National Charity League and of the Braille Auxiliary. She was recently given a special award for her many years of service with the Assistance League.

Phil graduated from Hollywood High School in 1939 and was the school's all-league champion in baseball in 1938. He played the sport at Los Angeles City College Los Angeles City College, known as LACC, is a public community college in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles, California. A part of the Los Angeles Community College District, it is located on Vermont Avenue south of Santa Monica Boulevard.  and Santa Barbara College and then signed with the St. Louis Browns, but he enlisted in the U.S. Navy after Pearl Harbor. He worked as a naval aviator during World War II, flying PBYs and doing air/sea rescue work. He earned his law degree from Southwestern Law School Southwestern Law School (formerly known as Southwestern University School of Law) is a private ABA-accredited law school located in Los Angeles, California, with about 1,000 students on a campus that includes the Bullocks Wilshire building, an admired art deco landmark.  and worked for State Farm Insurance Co. for 39 years, retiring as a vice president.

They have three children: Sharon of Pacific Palisades Palisades, cliffs along the west bank of the Hudson River, NE N.J. and SE N.Y., extending from N of Jersey City, N.J., to the vicinity of Piermont, N.Y., with a general altitude of from 350 ft to 550 ft (107–168 m). , Stephanie of La Jolla and Stacey of Thousand Oaks. They also have eight grandchildren.
