Later on, they opened Mauran Ambulance Service Inc., a successful ambulance company in San Fernando. Through this company they were involved in community groups such as the Kiwanis Club, the San Fernando Police Advisory Council, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. But they are most known in the community for their unique holiday spirit. Every year for the past 10 years, Donald and his brother Warren make hundreds of holiday figurines, which Santa gives to the neighborhood children.
