LOLA A. SIGNOM APPOINTED VP, INFORMATION PRODUCTS DIVISION

 DAYTON, Ohio, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ --NCR Corporation announced today the appointment of Lola A. Signom to the position of vice president, Information Products Division. Her appointment is effective immediately.
 In her new position, Signom is responsible for providing a shared vision and strategy across the company for world-class information products. The division was created in 1991 to ensure that the information component of NCR's products and services exceeds customer expectations.
 NCR Chairman and CEO Gilbert P. Williamson said, "Lola has a strong record of success with start-up programs in both internal and external communication functions across the company. Over the past few years, she has played an integral role in the successful launch of our strategic products and NCR's vision of the New Way of Computing."
 Prior to her appointment, Signom was assistant vice president, Stakeholder Relations Division, with responsibility for all internal and external communications. Signom joined NCR in 1969 as an editor in Corporate Industrial Relations. She has served in a variety of management positions in development and production, U.S. marketing, and corporate communications. In 1986, she was appointed director, Communications and Advertising Services, within NCR's Pacific Group. She was named executive assistant, Executive Office in 1988. In 1989, Signom became assistant vice president of Public Relations and served as a member of the AT&T/NCR transition team responsible for transition communications. She has held her most recent position since 1991.
 Signom is a trustee for a number of community organizations including The Muse Machine, Wegerzyn Horticultural Center, The Montgomery County Historical Society, Westminster Presbyterian Church and The Hipple Cancer Research Center.
 Signom graduated magna cum laude from Ohio University, with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
