 LOGICON ANNOUNCES CONTINUATION OF FAA CONTRACT
 LOS ANGELES, Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Logicon (NYSE: LGN) announced


today that it will continue its work on the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) National Airspace System (NAS) Plan under a two- year contract option from Martin Marietta, the FAA's prime contractor performing systems engineering and integration (SEI) for the NAS development.
 The option value of $6.4 million brings the total contract value to $77 million.
 Logicon will continue to perform independent verification and validation of software developed for new and existing air traffic systems. Work will also continue on developing training plans, preparing training implementation package requirements and developing and maintaining training class schedules and associated data bases. Logicon has been an integral member of the SEI team since the contract award date in February 1984.
 Work is being performed at Martin Marietta facilities in Washington, D.C.
 Logicon is a leader in providing advanced technology systems and services to support national security, civil and industrial needs.
