LOCKHEED MARTIN HOPING FOR A GIVING MOOD PALMDALE PLANT GOAL IS $600,000.

The LM AERO Club campaign kicked off Wednesday with employee rallies that will continue through Aug. 1.

``I have always been proud of Lockheed Martin's contributions to our national defense, but I am equally proud our employees' contributions to the communities where we live and work,'' said Rick Baker, a vice president and site general manager who is heading up the LM AERO Club's Campaign.

``I am confident that our employees will continue that heritage and give from the heart,'' he said.

``Lockheed Martin Aeronautics employees have provided key sustaining funding for charities in this region which has allowed them to grow and flourish,'' said Diane Grooms, regional vice president of the United Way of Greater Los Angeles.
