``It was love at first sight,'' said Loretta, who wears tap shoes and sometimes dances while the singers belt out their favorite songs.

Loretta and Dick get up and sing, too. On Jan. 25, they sang two duets -- You Made Me Love You and Makin' Whoopee. Halfway through their first number, Loretta pulled out a pink feather boa, delighting the crowd.

Both Loretta and Dick have worked in the entertainment industry. In fact, several of the folks who get up and sing on Thursdays were professional singers in their younger days, said Krystyna Grudzinski, who heads up the nutrition program at the center.
