Moorpark 12, Nordhoff 7: Tina Milburn homered and Meaghan Finnerty had two hits and two RBI as the Musketeers (13-8, 12-1) won their fifth straight Frontier League championship.

PREP TENNIS

Kennedy 26, Westchester 3-1/2: Norman Menjivar swept his singles matches as the top-seeded Cougars (14-1) advanced to the City 3-A semifinals.

Van Nuys 19-1/2, Marshall 10: John Florez and Archie Santos swept their doubles matches 6-3, 6-3, 7-5 to lead the No. 2-seeded Wolves (14-1) in a City 3-A quarterfinal at Van Nuys.

Cleveland 17, Carson 12-1/2: Steve Jung swept his four singles sets, defeating No. 1 Wil Nerida 6-3, to lead the Cavaliers (10-6) to a City 3-A quarterfinal upset of the No. 3-seeded Colts (12-2) at Carson.

Eagle Rock 20, Monroe 9-1/2: Eugene Rapada and Bao Nguyen both swept their singles sets to lead the No. 4-seeded Eagles (12-0) into the City 3-A semifinals.
