LOCAL NOTESL : SIMI DODGERS WIN ON THREE HOMERS.

Andrew Rittenburg, Tony Evans and Robbie Lewis each hit home runs to lead the Pinto Dodgers past the Rangers 15-9 in a recent Simi Youth Baseball League game.

Justyn Czrklis earned the save by retiring the last three batters.

Baseball: Trevor Andrews and J.R. Gomez each hit home runs as the Bronco bronco: see mustang.  Indians and Angels tied 8-8 in a recent Simi Youth Baseball League game.

Gomez has hit 11 homers this year.

Derek Lund pitched a complete game, striking out eight for the Indians.

John Schogh was 3 for 4 for the Angels.

Other games:

Tony Fils homered to pace the Bronco Rockies over the Pirates 17-4.

The Rockies collected 14 hits, including seven doubles, two by Brett Scott.

Brandon Grice pitched four innings to pick up the win.

Gilbert Garcia and Chris Villa went 2 for 3 for the Rockies.

Chris Calvert went 2 for 3 for the Pirates.

John Loriero had a triple and a single to lead the Mustang Dodgers over the Indians 15-6.

Matt Schrupp added three hits and Matt Kaufman had a double for the Dodgers.

Steve Flandez had a double for the Indians.

Football: The Agoura/Oak Park Eagles youth football team needs 8- to 10-year-old players for its new Bantam Division.

Baseball: Three Cal State Northridge summer baseball camps are set for June 23-27, July 7-11 and July 28-Aug. 1, with the final session designated as a special high school camp.

Baseball: The sixth annual Simi Valley 9-year-old All-Star baseball tournament, which runs from July 5-July 19, is taking applications for teams.
