Wrestling: Moorpark College Moorpark College is a California-state funded community college located on a 134 acre (542,000 m²) property reclining on a hill in Moorpark, a town in Ventura County, California.  finished first at Saturday's Cal Poly Cal Poly may refer to:
  • California Polytechnic State University, located in San Luis Obispo, California (Cal Poly)
  • California State Polytechnic University, Pomona located in Pomona, California (Cal Poly Pomona)
 tournament. Ari Conner placed first at 158 pounds, Fred Molano and Dan Ramirez each finished second at 142 and 190, respectively. Matt Werner and Gabe Roman placed third. And Joey Guardado and Corey Shropshire each finished fourth.

Golf: The Ventura County Council of the Boy Scouts of America Noun 1. Boy Scouts of America - a corporation that operates through a national council that charters local councils all over the United States; the purpose is character building and citizenship training  will hold its second annual Boy Scouts of Ventura County Golf Marathon on Dec. 2. This year, the event will be held at North Rancho Country Club, and will feature 40 golfers who will hack, chip and putt their way through up to 100 holes of golf. Each player will secure sponsorships of $25 per hole.

Proceeds will benefit the more than 7,500 youths participating in Scouting throughout Ventura County. Call Jamie Noppe at (805) 522-0964 for more information. Play is limited to 40 players.
