LOCAL NOTES : MONTCLAIR PREP PLANS TWO GAMES IN THREE DAYS.Byline: Daily News Montclair Prep has agreed to play two football games in the same week after struggling to schedule enough games to qualify for playoff competition. The Mounties (2-1) will play at Malibu, a first-year program, next Wednesday, then face L.A. Jordan at Valley College on Friday. Classes will be held at various sites throughout the area. Although the organization normally requires its members to be at least 18 years of age, youth who have their parents' consent will be allowed to attend. Softball tryouts: The California Waves 14-and-under fastpitch softball Fastpitch softball is a sport played commonly by girls, though male and co-ed fastpitch leagues also exist. The Outlaws 16-and-under traveling softball team will hold tryouts Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Pierce College In 2006 the Library won a national Excellence award.
