 Track:Doreen Turpin won the 100 meters with a time of 12.9 at the Bakerfield College Relays meet this passed weekend. She also won the 200 meters with a time of 26.7. Softball: The Conejo Valley The Conejo Valley is a region spanning both Southeastern Ventura County and Northwest Los Angeles County in Southern California, United States. It was discovered in 1542 by Spanish explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo, and eventually became part of the Rancho El Conejo land grant by  Senior Softball Team, the "50 Bucs" are going to enter the Anaheim Hills Senior Softball tournament this weekend. Manager Ed Gillette feels that the adsdition of two local athletes, Carl Prather and Lloyd Wood have strengthened the team considerably.

They will be trying to get their second straight championship, after their victory in the Laughlin, Ariz invitational last month. Catch the Spirit . . .

Field Hockey:California Cup XXV (Silver Anniversary) International Field Hocket In music hocket is the rhythmic linear technique using the alternation of notes, pitches, or chords. This is opposed to the alternation of phrases, or antiphony. Volleyball:Women's set and chat volleyball is offered at the Rancho Santa Susana Community Center between 9:30- 11:30 a.m. Participant fee is $2. Play and learn skills.

Basketball:Open basketball play will be offered at the Center between 3-9:30 p.m. Admission is $2 per player. Amonthly pass is available for $15.

Exercise Classes:Step exercise classes starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Rancho Santa Susana Community Center. This workout is designed for all levels of fitness and is taught according to indivdual abilities. Class fee is $15.

The district will be holding another Low Impact power hour starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Rancho Santa Susana Community Center. This class emphasizes an aerobic workout with oune foot on the floor -- no jumping! This method limits unnecessary stree to the muscular and skeletal system skeletal system

Swimming:A swim and stay fit conditioning swim program is being offered at the 50-meter swimming pool at Rancho Simi Community Park between 7-8:30 p.m. Monthly registration fee is $35.

Lifeguard training:Regisrations will be accepted at the Sycamore Drive Community Center between 8:30-4:30 p.m. for lifeguard training for summer jobs. Course fee is $110.
