--Palmdale 5, Puerto Rico 2: Jennifer Curtier hit a two-run home run to spark Palmdale to a 5-2 victory over Puerto Rico to clinch third place in the Big League World Series (18-under) in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Right-hander Nikki Secrease pitched three innings for the victory in a game shortened to five innings because of rain.
