LOCAL HYUNDAI DEALERS AND THE MILWAUKEE RESCUE MISSION LAUNCH 'CAN DRIVE' IN BID FOR A HAPPIER HOLIDAY SEASON

Program Aims to Accelerate the Fight Against Hunger
MILWAUKEE, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ --Three local Hyundai dealers have

joined forces with the Milwaukee Rescue Mission to launch a can drive and turkey giveaway commencing Friday, Nov. 5, and concluding Sunday, Nov. 21. All goods collected from the program will benefit the local Rescue Mission's efforts to feed the homeless and needy this holiday season.
The three dealerships involved are Arrow Hyundai, 4201 S. 27th St., Rank & Son Hyundai, 4206 N. Green Bay Ave. and Boucher Hyundai, 1421 E. Moreland Ave. in Waukesha.
Customers are asked to bring canned goods to any of the three dealerships and invited to test drive a Hyundai. The first 10 customers at each dealership to test drive a Hyundai will be awarded a certificate for a free turkey to add to their Thanksgiving celebration. Customers also have the option of donating their free turkey to the Rescue Mission.
"We are extremely happy to have the support of the local dealerships," stated Patrick Vanderburgh, executive director of the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. "Due to the economic conditions in Milwaukee, and across the country, our needs are limitless. It is wonderful to have three local businesses roll up their sleeves and help out."
The Milwaukee Rescue Mission is celebrating its 100th anniversary as an organization providing shelter for homeless families, meals for the needy, rehabilitation services and youth programs for local area residents.
"The growing number of homeless and needy families in our community is a concern to us all. It is our obligation to lend a helping hand, and we take that responsibility seriously," said Bob Schlytter, dealer principal of Arrow Hyundai.
Through this program, the three dealerships are making a commitment to the Rescue Mission and asking the local community to band together and help in the fight against hunger in America.
