NICOLE NICOLE Nearly Intelligent Computer Operated Language Examiner (chatterbot)  BONINO

La Canada

Sophomore runner

Bonino started slowly in the girls' Division III race at the state meet on Saturday in Fresno, but she finished with a flourish and led the Spartans to their second consecutive team championship.

Bonino finished fifth overall on the challenging Woodward Park course in 18 minutes, 40 seconds. La Canada, which entered the meet top-ranked in the state in Division III, easily beat the field with 46 points. RAY CASSADAY

Senior fullback

In the biggest game of the year, Cassaday turned in the best performance of his career. Also a linebacker, he rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns on 10 carries, catching a touchdown pass and recovering a fumble on defense as the Vikings crushed Crespi 49-7 in a Southern Section Division III quarterfinal game Friday.

Cassaday isn't known for his rushing, having been used more as a blocking fullback for Manuel White this year. But he was most effective against the Celts The following pages provide lists of nations or people of Celtic origin, arranged by branch of Celtic ethnicity or language grouping:

CASEY CLAUSEN

Junior quarterback

Alemany

He has enjoyed a terrific season as a junior, throwing for 3,109 yards and 28 touchdowns. Although he doesn't have the cannon arm that Boller does, he is a heady player who stays within himself and executes Alemany's offense to near perfection. Clausen has a bevy bevy

of wide receivers to work with, and he uses every one of them. If he can avoid turnovers, keep the chains moving and keep the Hart offense off the field, Alemany can stay close and try to sneak away with a win.

KYLE BOLLER

Senior quarterback

Hart

What more can be said about this budding superstar? One of the premier QBs in the country, Boller has put together an incredible season in his first year as the Indians' starter, throwing for a state single-season record 4,498 yards and 56 touchdowns. Known for his incredible arm, Boller also impresses with his poise and durability. When he's on - and he hasn't been off all year - the Indians are unstoppable. For Alemany to have any chance, it must get pressure on Boller and hope he throws some interceptions. It's an iffy if·fy
