LNX Corporation Acquires the Assets of ARCOM Wireless.Business Editors/High-Tech Writers NORTH ANDOVER, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2003 LNX LNX Linux (operating system) LNX Links Corporation, a leading provider of military and commercial subsystems, today announced the acquisition of the majority of the assets of ARCOM ARCOM Army Reserve Command (replaced by RSC and RSG) ARCOM Army Commendation Medal ARCOM United States Army Reserve Command Wireless, Inc., a subsidiary of Dover Corporation (NYSE NYSE See: New York Stock Exchange : DOV). The acquisition was structured as an asset purchase, and included computer systems and data bases, inventory, test and assembly equipment, including the existing fully automated assembly line, transceiver designs, and certain intellectual property rights. In addition, LNX has hired the key engineering and manufacturing staff at ARCOM to ensure a continuation of many of the existing ARCOM operations. LNX will also lease 12,000 sqft. of the former ARCOM facility in Salem, New Hampshire Salem is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 28,112 at the 2000 census. Salem is a marketing and distributing center, with several colleges, recreation attractions and a large shopping mall, the Mall at Rockingham Park. , and will move into the premises on April 1, 2003.
