LNG coming?
LNG Coming?: Woodside Natural Gas Inc., a subsidiary of Woodside Petroleum Ltd., Australia's largest publicly traded oil and gas exploration company, said it has submitted permit applications to the U.S. Coast Guard, the Maritime Administration and the city of Los Angles for approval to build and operate a liquid natural gas terminal, just off the coast from Los Angeles International Airport. The Ocean-Way project is designed to bring liquefied natural gas liquefied natural gas: see under natural gas. from Australia to California and the Santa Monica-based subsidiary is seeking approval to place two delivery buoys more than 20 miles offshore from LAX. The project is one of several LNG proposals being pursed by companies in Southern California.
