LMU SIGNS FOUR BASEBALL RECRUITS.

The Loyola Marymount baseball program, which won the past two West Coast Conference championships, signed three high school players and one junior college transfer for the 2001 season.

Josh Whitesell, a left-handed pitcher and two-time All-Citrus Belt first-team selection from Rialto Rialto, city (1990 pop. 72,388), San Bernardino co., S Calif., a residential suburb of San Bernardino; inc. 1911. The city has greatly expanded as a result of the economic and demographic growth of the southern California area. Manufactures include food and beverages, fabricated structural metal, travel trailers, concrete products, and roofing systems. High, highlights the prep recruits. The other two are right-handed pitcher Vincent Cordova (Whittier California) and catcher Brady Koch (Mira Costa).

C.J. Wilson, a left-hander from Santa Ana College and Fountain Valley High, completes the Lions' recruiting class.

Harrison was taken off the Double-A New Haven roster ROSTER - Remotely Observed Signatures in the Thermosphere of Explosive Releases by Triple-A Durham (Devil Rays). Snow was picked off the Dodgers' Vero Beach Vero Beach (vēr`o), city (1990 pop. 17,350), seat of Indian River co., E Fla., on Indian River (a lagoon and part of the Intracoastal Waterway); founded c.1888, inc. 1919. A fruit-producing center and a fishing resort, it also has diversified light manufacturing. roster by Triple-A Buffalo (Indians).
