LMCCC has eye on downtown traffic.The Lower Manhattan Construction Command Center (LMCCC LMCCC Lower Manhattan Construction Command Center ) has begun implementing its Enforcement Taskforce to maintain mobility and protect the quality of life in Lower Manhattan as construction increases rapidly. The Taskforce, comprised of key agencies with regulatory authority over construction activity, will work to resolve day-to-day issues as part of a coordinated effort to maintain mobility and protect the quality of life downtown. A supervisor from each agency will meet on a daily basis to review pending permits, identify problem areas and deploy enforcement personnel as needed. Furthermore, each agency will have a core force of enforcement personnel dedicated to Lower Manhattan, which will supplement the existing agents currently working downtown.
